Yes I am alive, yes I have not posted for almost 2 months >.> Between my busy schedule with work atm and skyrim I have had very little time to work on Post Apocolyptia or the website at all. However that might change shortly. I am going to be releasing a new Post Apocolyptia version very soon this is not going to be a full update but will be a kind of mini update. Sorry about the long long wait. This mini updates adds in the ability to upgrade already built buildings along with allowing you to initially build whatever building level you want. There was also a major rewrite of the back end to make it more streamline, though none of that you should notice >.< Anyway sorry about not updating in awhile I will be uploading the new version after I do some final bug testing.

Sorry about not updating the news lately mix of being busy and just forgetting XD As for development Post Apocolyptia the build system optimization/cleaning is just about done and planning out the tech tree has begun, however until they are both in it and I'm happy with them there will not be a release to alpha r3 yet. I'm hopping next month that will change but really depends on how hooked I get on Skyrim :\ I'm setting up an industrial minecraft server soonish too so not sure how much time that will take up to prepare/setup how I want it. Other then that though new really I plan to have a r3 out next month but as mentioned I cannot guarantee anything until I get Skyrim XD

The second build of Post Apocolyptia is now up :D With it you can now destroy, upgrade, and salvage buildings. All the buildings now have build times and they are now updated every in game minute vs every hour. The upgrade system is incomplete atm, but you can upgrade the textile mill to level 2. None of the other building will look like they are upgrading even if they are since I didn't do the graphics for all the building lvl 2s. Speaking of graphics if you build the hospital you can see a bit of what I'm experimenting with though it is all a work in progress lol. In r3 the upgrade system should be completed along with the addition of the tech tree and research. Hopefully in r3 we will also get some graphics since the guy whos supposed to be doing them says he is going to start them this week. Quiz wise I added a credits page and fixed up a few very minor things, that is about all I did with that. Next update except a new build of Post Apocolyptia some minor updates to the site and possibly a new quiz.

v8 is finally up :D and with this you can now do our 1st ever anime quiz with image results, and play the alpha version of our new game Post Apocolyptia! There are some things in v8 I am still working on, but most everything is done. I hope you enjoy it and like the new look, expect more updates within the coming months to both minor bits of the site and to Post Apocolyptia. Remember Post Apocolyptia is in Alpha so expect bugs and limited functionality for now. Expect to have Beta out by sometime early 2012 assuming everything continues to go smoothly.

Yes as the title says we are on track for the release of ZA&Fs v8 for sometime mid next week (Most likely Thursday). Most of the pages are basically done at this point, only major things left to do are a few of the game related pages and the theme needs to be cleaned up a bit and integrated in. Other then v8 the alpha release of Post-Apocolyptia will be coming out at around the same time, along with our first anime quiz, ZA&Fs Modern Anime Quiz I, look forward to both of those. I'm not 100% sure if the image results will be done for the quiz by then or not don't have a mouse with me atm so can't even really work on them the quiz itself however is basically done at this point only thing left to decide is 10 vs 15 questions. Oh and with the quiz you will also get to see the quiz engine I put together that should make it very easy to make new quizzes quickly and easily. It allows for multiple different types of questions along with various numbers of answers for each question. It has matching, multiple choice, true/false, fill in the blank, timeline, etc... Obviously it's not done at this point, but most of the core bits are done, only major addition at this point would be allowing for personality type quizzes, and essay both of which I plan to do eventually.
