Java is Going

Well so far Java is going well overall. I have started porting Post Apoclyptia over but it is going to take quite a bit of time to get it up to speed, mainly since I am overhauling/improving the code as much as I can and also I have yet to figure out how to do many things in Java such as drag and drop objects and well most of the GUI stuff in general. So far all I have done is checking building costs and some initialization functions. I would say probably by sometime next month I MAY have a Pre-Alpha release out, no guarantee but once I figure out how to do the gui stuff things should progress rather quickly. Other then that nothing new to report really. Cya next status update

Yes I am alive lol, I haven't done any flash program in awhile I am currently working on learning java so I can program in a language that allows me to do more. Anyway once I know what I'm doing well enough I am going to start to port Post-Apocolyptia over to java and then continue it from there. When will I have something to show I have no idea lol would love to say soon but that's not likely. Although most of the same concepts apply in java that ap[plied in flash it is still very different in syntax and back end stuff, so could be awhile currently working on doing a few basic programs 1st then will start on that. Will update again when I have new info/release date

Yes I am alive, yes I have not posted for almost 2 months >.> Between my busy schedule with work atm and skyrim I have had very little time to work on Post Apocolyptia or the website at all. However that might change shortly. I am going to be releasing a new Post Apocolyptia version very soon this is not going to be a full update but will be a kind of mini update. Sorry about the long long wait. This mini updates adds in the ability to upgrade already built buildings along with allowing you to initially build whatever building level you want. There was also a major rewrite of the back end to make it more streamline, though none of that you should notice >.< Anyway sorry about not updating in awhile I will be uploading the new version after I do some final bug testing.

Delays and more Delays

Sorry about not updating the news lately mix of being busy and just forgetting XD As for development Post Apocolyptia the build system optimization/cleaning is just about done and planning out the tech tree has begun, however until they are both in it and I'm happy with them there will not be a release to alpha r3 yet. I'm hopping next month that will change but really depends on how hooked I get on Skyrim :\ I'm setting up an industrial minecraft server soonish too so not sure how much time that will take up to prepare/setup how I want it. Other then that though new really I plan to have a r3 out next month but as mentioned I cannot guarantee anything until I get Skyrim XD

New Post Apocolyptia Build

The second build of Post Apocolyptia is now up :D With it you can now destroy, upgrade, and salvage buildings. All the buildings now have build times and they are now updated every in game minute vs every hour. The upgrade system is incomplete atm, but you can upgrade the textile mill to level 2. None of the other building will look like they are upgrading even if they are since I didn't do the graphics for all the building lvl 2s. Speaking of graphics if you build the hospital you can see a bit of what I'm experimenting with though it is all a work in progress lol. In r3 the upgrade system should be completed along with the addition of the tech tree and research. Hopefully in r3 we will also get some graphics since the guy whos supposed to be doing them says he is going to start them this week. Quiz wise I added a credits page and fixed up a few very minor things, that is about all I did with that. Next update except a new build of Post Apocolyptia some minor updates to the site and possibly a new quiz.
